A Kind Soul Remembered

It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karrie Kay (Koepsel) Oram, 67, of the Town of Gibraltar, who left this world peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, surrounded by family in the comfort of her daughter Kami's home.

Karrie was the kind of person who made everyone around her feel seen and welcomed. Her greatest joy was her family. She adored her daughters and cherished every moment with her husband Kevin, who was her steadfast partner through life. Family wasn't just important to Karrie - it was everything.

She also had a deep love for Door County, the place she called home. Its seasons, its community, its beauty — Karrie embraced all of it wholeheartedly.

A Heart for Community

Karrie loved being at the market. She loved the rhythm of it, and most of all, she loved the people. Seeing familiar faces stop in, catching up with neighbors and strangers who became friends!

A Life Worth Celebrating

Karrie's passing is not just a moment of grief — it is an invitation to gather, to remember, and to celebrate a life well lived. Her family welcomes friends and loved ones to come share in that remembrance.

Visitation Friday, May 15, 2026 | 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Huehns Funeral Home 1414 Michigan Street, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235

Karrie will be laid to rest at Baileys Harbor Town Cemetery in a private committal for family.
