Door County Tradition Since 1958

Koepsel's Farm Market

About Us

Located off Highway 57 between Baileys Harbor and Sister Bay, Koepsel's is proud to be Door County's oldest farm market, serving visitors and locals since 1958. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, Koepsel's is currently owned and operated by Karina and Kevin Oram, continuing a cherished Door County tradition.

Our History

The Koepsel family's connection to Door County spans generations, tracing back to the region's earliest days. Our family heritage began when Increase Claflin, a Koepsel ancestor, became Door County's first white settler in 1835, establishing our deep ties to this beautiful peninsula. This connection continued through both family lines, with Kevin's grandmother being born in Bailey's Harbor in 1886. This rich dual lineage represents nearly two centuries of Koepsel family history interwoven with Door County's pioneering development.

The recipes we use to create our beloved jams, jellies, and canned goods are treasured family heirlooms that date back even earlier than 1958 when we first opened our doors. These time-honored techniques and secret family formulas have been carefully passed down through generations, preserving authentic flavors that have delighted visitors for decades.

Our Products

We specialize in homemade jams, jellies, and fruit butters made with traditional family recipes. Our market features an impressive selection of over 87 different varieties, including many "no sugar" options to suit every taste and dietary need. Most of our products are carefully canned in-house, preserving the authentic flavors and quality that have made us a Door County staple for generations.

Our commitment to local products extends throughout the market with an extensive collection of Wisconsin-made goods. Visitors can browse our wide array of specialty canned goods, fresh-baked items from our bakery, quality meats, and artisanal Wisconsin cheeses. We proudly offer locally-sourced smoked fish, seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables, and a large selection of Door County wines and Wisconsin craft beers to satisfy any palate.

For those with a sweet tooth, our dried goods section includes a variety of candies and treats. From local delicacies to classic favorites, we ensure there's something for everyone at Koepsel's Farm Market.
